Online misogyny set to be outlawed



The front page of The Daily Telegraph reports the Government are set to include a Code of Practice on Violence Against Women and Girls in the Online Safety Bill with the aim of reducing online misogyny. The Code has been drafted by a coalition of experts, including myself, making the case for stronger protections in the Bill targeting the high prevalence of online abuse against women and girls. The coalition includes the NSPCC, Refuge, End Violence Against Women, Carnegie, 5Rights, Lorna Woods and myself.
