As the European Union debates new laws to regulate internet platforms, Professor McGlynn joined Members of the European Parliament and German organisation Hate Aid to recommend strengthening obligations on pornography websites to reduce non-consensual pornography and image-based sexual abuse.
Professor McGlynn’s contribution was based on her Expert Opinion, written with Lorna Woods of Essex University, and published by HateAid.
